Deed, 1833 April 25, with addition, 1833 July 1.

Hoban, of Washington, D.C. (possibly the son of the architect of the White House), sells his slave, William Gettys, to William Gunton for $325.00. The slave has been held as security for a note with the Bank of Washington. Thomas Munroe, for the Bank, relinquishes ownership of the slave to Gunton.
